It takes trial and error and experimentation for any artist to find their niche and true calling. I passionately believe that bookmaking is the perfect blend of my love of textiles (fabric and paper), pattern, color, design, and typography. The custom books I create for each individual client are testiments to my passion for beautiful works of art that are also functional and one-of-a-kind.
As an artist and as a business person, the last thing I want is to blend in with the crowd which is why I hand pick the materials for each project and never stock pile my supplies. I take the time to get to know you, listen to your personal story, and discover what it is that makes your special day unique and use all of the creative talents I have to translate those details into a tangible object. My one request is that you help me uphold the mantra I was taught as a bookbinding student - BOOKS ARE MADE TO BE HELD! Don't let one of my creations collect dust on the shelf - use it, browse it, and cherish it on a regular basis and share it with the ones you hold close.
